A little about Ed
Ed was born in Pittsburgh PA, but grew up in the small town of Simi Valley, CA. Ed has always had a deep appreciation for nature, but music is his passion. He plays several instruments: the hammered dulcimer, flute and penny whistle. He enjoys playing music at street fairs. He is also involved in a living history organization. Ed earned his B.A. at U.C. Santa Barbara. He works as a banker where he has learned much about being financially responsible. Whenever the clients bring their small children into the branch, they run up to Ed's desk to see what new toys he has. With so much to keep him busy, he always has time for what's really important, and that is being with friends and family, and being a Dad.

A little about Debi

Debi grew up near Los Angeles, where her parents continue to live. Early on she was active in local environmental concerns. Debi earned her B.A. in Biology from Cal State Long Beach. She spent 2 years in Honduras working as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Upon her return, she earned a M.A. in psychology and now works with troubled children as a psychotherapist. While Debi is very passionate about her career, she is really looking forward to being a mother and raising a child. She also enjoys the small things in life; reading, cross-stitching and being involved in local folk music events.

More About Us...
We live in a pleasant little area near Los Angeles , California with our cats, Tita and Bleu. We have a nice, three bedroom home on a small street that ends in a cul-de-sac. The best part of the neighborhood is the neighbors themselves. We are a close-knit group of people, who look out for each other, take care of each other's kids, celebrate birthdays together, and enjoy being with each other. There are good public schools, parks, and a public library a few blocks away. A state university and a wildlife refuge area are within a few miles. Welcoming a child to our family would be a dream come true. We know it will be lots of work, and we really feel that we have more than enough love, happiness and energy to share with a special someone. It is very important to us that our child grows up knowing who s/he is and who her/his birth parents are. We look forward to welcoming a child into our lives through open adoption.
